The breaking point
In his early thirties, Roberto was by every external measure doing well. Successful career. Good relationships. A life he had built carefully and intentionally. And yet something was fundamentally wrong. Anxiety had become his baseline. Sleep was a negotiation. The disconnection from himself had grown so deep he could no longer locate what he actually wanted.
The first breath session
A colleague recommended he try breathwork. He walked into that first session skeptical, analytical, braced to be disappointed. Within twenty minutes, something shifted that no amount of therapy or meditation had touched. His body released what it had been holding for years. He cried. He laughed. He felt genuinely alive.
The thirty-year commitment
What followed was not a weekend hobby or pivot. It was a complete reorganization of his life around a single discovery: the breath is the most direct route to transformation. He trained across traditions, practiced daily for decades, and developed what would become the ElHappyBreath method.
From survival to service
The first person Roberto guided was a friend in crisis. Then a colleague. Then a stranger. The 3,300+ community today grew organically β because results are undeniable and people share what truly changes their lives.
Where he stands today
Thirty years in, Roberto still practices every morning. He personally guides every session, reads every intake form, and follows up within 48 hours. The depth of care is not a feature β it's who he is.
